AIYANA BELGUDA, M.ED.
Founder/Executive Director
Aiyana is an educational advocate, leader and lifelong teacher and learner. She has been a pillar in her community by speaking up against injustices and advocating for equity in education. She spent her career in teaching and educational leadership in the US, especially for students with disabilities in underserved communities. She has spent 10+ years in her hometown of Philadelphia and the nation’s capital Washington, DC teaching and mentoring youth from underserved communities with various learning and emotional needs.
Aiyana has been traveling to Ghana and other West African countries since 2019, serving and volunteering in schools in the most underserved communities. She holds a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Communications from Temple University and Master’s of Education with from Arcadia University both in Pennsylvania.
Aiyana takes great pride in being an educator and aspires to be an international change agent who upholds a strong belief in the idea that all students can strive in and outside of the classroom. She founded ACCEP, Inc. because she believes that youth from underserved communities and of African descent are underrepresented in international cultural exchange experiences and service learning projects. Through these experiences, Aiyana believes the youth can thrive in a globally interconnected society.
